Looking beyond the pre-competition dieting process, Paul Ehren will be asking you to consider the manipulation of body composition over a variety of sports, how the nature of the sport will dictate the approach, why we need to look further than nutrition advice and our responsibilities to our clients year round.
Paul will also consider current research recommendations for making weight and how these may differ from the actual reality of working with athletes.
This is not intended to be a straightforward “how to” guide to helping an athlete lose weight but rather a broader look at body composition across a range of sporting modalities and how practice can contradict theory.
