This webinar looks at a selection of gene-nutrient interactions which are vital for energy production (ATP). Karen Harrison will review ATP production, paying most attention to the first steps of the Krebs cycle involving: cysteine, glutathione and iron.  She will also review the impact of the gene-nutrient interactions, bring practical tips to support these pathways and highlight the types of foods containing the substrates needed.

Karen Harrison BSc MSc is the owner of Team Gene, providing genetic reports for athletes, looking into energy production, repair, sleep and lifestyle. Karen is one of 30 people who has completed a MSc in Nutrition and Genetics from St Mary’s University in Twickenham. She has a BSc in Nutritional Science and has been lecturing for six years in these subjects.
