After noticing sport-specific trends of individual thinkers starting to appear in professional football, over the past decade, Florent Motta has been spearheading an action plan to bring integrative nutrition into his sporting practice. In addition to data-driven support of footballers, and cutting-edge functional lab testing, he implements a highly comprehensive integrative nutrition strategy, personalised to the needs of each player. In his words, “health cannot be separated from performance.”
In addition, by monitoring the lifestyle patterns of his players, Florent thinks that if he can understand which behaviours positively support biological functioning, he can ultimately improve their performance on the pitch. This is designed to be an interactive webinar, so come and join us, ask questions and share your own insights.

About Florent Motta
When Florent started his journey as a fitness coach in professional football in 2003, he focused on sport-specific parameters such as training load, strength, speed, agility, and other necessary metrics of successful coaching. However, an encounter with the evolving subject of sports genetics in 2009 made him realise that his approach should also consider parameters that are individual-specific; such as genetics and functional biology. These integrative processes are ultimately responsible for triggering (or not) the specific physiological adaptations that we expect from well-planned training stimuli. Working on the connection between these two dimensions is what guided Florent since that time in order to support, as much as possible, the effect that health has on performance.
